Caste News:Caste abuse case against CMC chief

Caste abuse case has been filed against City Municipal Council President and to others.
They are facing charges of posing life threat to JD(U) President K Bharat and also abusing him on caste basis.It is said that Bharath was abused in the backdrop of speaking about the poor quality of road work in front of Vijaya Bank at I G Road and for demanding to carry out investigation in this regard in a press meet recently. 

CMC President C R Prem Kumar who visited the spot, abused Bharath and threatened him of dire consequences, following which Bharath filed a complaint with the police. He has also filed a case against BJP leader Chaman who accompanied the CMC President.

The police have begun the investigation. Speaking to media persons, K Bharath has demanded the police to arrest Prem Kumar and Chaman immediately. He has asked the police to provide security to him and his family. “The CMC President should resign from his post by holding moral responsibility, failing which I would stage protest in front of the CMC,” he said.

Caste News:Boy killed for having affair with upper caste girl

Lucknow, Sept 11, DHNS Falling in love with an upper caste girl proved fatal for a youth who was brutally killed and one of his eyes gouged out in Uttar Pradesh’s Faizabad district, about 125 km from here. According to police sources, the body of the youth identified as Rehan Ahmed, a resident of Khandpipra village in the district, was recovered from near a graveyard, a few hundred metres away from the village, on Saturday. Rehan was having an affair with a girl of the same village for the past two years and the two wanted to marry but their affair was not approved by the girl’s family since he hails from a lower caste. “The lovers belonged to different castes and the family of the girl was opposed to their marriage…the boy was also warned by the girl’s family members on many occasions,” officials said.
